Dear friends, It is hard to believe that in twenty two short years we have come from nothing to where we are today. Miracle after miracle happened here at Midway Baptist Church in those years. Our first building on campus was an old Grange Hall. Some difficult days were in the making. Days and weeks of work soon turned into months. All of the thirteen members and theirfamilies worked tirelessly painting and decorating the old Grange Hall into the new Midway Baptist Church.

The building was so beautiful. The little white Church by the side of the road was all that we would ever need, according to our thinking. Other plans had been made in Heaven that we did not know about. The word quickly moved around the community about that Gospel preaching Church which sets by the side of the road in Elyria Township, Elyria, Ohio.

People began coming from all over the area to worship with us. Our own children grew up and started their own families, and in a short period of time, we were out of space.

We put the addition on the little Church thinking that would be all that we would ever need. Again, other plans had been made in Heaven. The people of Midway Baptist Church built this beautiful new Church which will comfortably seat 500 People and on opening day we had a congregation of 562 people. Of course, not all of them come back every Sunday. Many did, and now new folks are coming every Sunday.

We can only hope that you will be the next new visitor in our congregation next Sunday. If you love gospel preaching, inspirational gospel singing, strong Bible teaching, warm fellowship and Spiritual Worship, you will love it here at Midway Baptist Church.

1. We believe in the verbal inspiration and authority of the Scriptures. We believe that the Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation and God's plan and purpose in the ages.

3. We believe in the deity , Virgin birth, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.

4. We believe that salvation is 'By Grace' plus nothing and minus nothing. The conditions to salvation are repentance and faith.

5. We believe that men are justified by faith alone, and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Justification is an eternal relationship that can never be broken.

6. We believe in the visible, personal and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ.

7. We believe in the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
